Colourpop All Nighter Super Shock Shadow Collection

It’s been a very long time since I originally purchased the ColourPop All Nighter Super Shock Shadow Collection ($18 USD).  I actually bought them last November during the ColourPop Black Friday sale, but with all of the moving around I’ve done in the year, I kind of forgot about them.  When I was finally got around to going through my collection at my new house, I put these aside to try them out.  Of course, now I am kicking myself that it took me so long to actually use them because these babies are amazing.

MAC Snow Ball Mini Lipstick Set

Sadly, it has been quite a few years since I’ve been this excited about a MAC Cosmetics Christmas Collection.  Don’t get me wrong, while I still like them, I’ve been quite caught up in other collections for a number of years now and the yearly offering from MAC has kind of slipped right by me.  Not this year though; this year they are firmly back in my sights with the Snow Ball Collection.  Like previous MAC Holiday Collections, Snow Ball is coming to us in stages.  While the there are standard offerings of palettes, lip kits, brush kits and so on, the standout in stage one is none other than this MAC Snow Ball Mini Lipstick Set.

Purchased by MeMelt Cosmetics Haze Stack

Melt Cosmetics has long been a brand on my ‘I should try them’ list.  Unfortunately for me, I always seem to forget about them and never ended up purchasing anything from them.  Well, that was the case until a few weeks ago when they launched the Hot Box Collection.  There was just something about this collection that really caught my eye.  Combine that with great email flyer timing, and I managed to actually get my hands on the Melt Cosmetics The Haze Stack ($48 USD).

Purchased by Me

With warmer weather now being a part of my reality, I am always looking for ways to simplify my makeup routine.  I still want to look as good, if not better, than I always do, but I just want it to be easier.  I don’t want to spend hours putting on a full-face of makeup only to have it look like crap by the time I reach the office.  So I have been testing out a variety of products to see just what will find it’s way onto my new simplified summer makeup routine.  One of those products is none other than the Milk Makeup Supernova Holographic Stick ($34 CAD).
