Ah Marc Jacobs, when you do a fragrance, you do it right. Just in time for summer, Marc Jacobs has released his latest fragrance – Mod Noir! Surprisingly enough, I heard little to nothing about this one before it popped up on the Sephora website as a VIB/Rouge exclusive ahead of its official launch in June. All I knew was that I had to have it, so naturally, I bought it. As much as I love to get and test new things buying a fragrance I have never used or smelt before always gives me pause. But really, it’s Marc Jacobs, and its not another addition to the ‘Daisy’ line of fragrances, and that my friends is good enough for me.
Last week I told you about my latest fragrance obsession with the various scents on offer from Commodity Goods. While I have the rest of both the BLACK and WHITE collections on order, I did manage to pop by Sephora Eaton Centre on Sunday morning and finally test out the entire line, and pick up the few that I didn’t order online. Up first is Mimosa Travel Spray!
Sometimes, I am totally surprised by a fragrance. While I do have what I consider a never-ending list of fragrances that interest me and I want to try out, there are also a lot that don’t ever reach my notice. Juicy Couture Hollywood Royal is one such fragrance. Which, when I think about it is such a shame because Juicy Couture Hollywood Royal is right up my alley and quickly becoming one of my favourite summer scents.
I have to be honest, I have been eyeing the various scents available from Commodity Fragrances ever since they first popped up on the Sephora website. My first instinct was to buy them all, despite not knowing what the actually smelt like. I resisted buying them online and tried to hunt them down in stores to test them out, but I was unsuccessful. So I put them out of my mind…or at least I tried to. View Post
Every time I step into Sephora, I go with a list. I always say that I am going to stick to said list and only purchase things on said list, but that rarely ever happens. I invariably end up finding something or a lot of somethings, that were not on the list that somehow end up making their way home with me. It happens…EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. Case in point is the new Escada Turquoise Summer Eau de Toilette. I purchased the purse spray version back in February when I smelt it when I was stuck in line waiting to pay. Even though that purse spray was not on my list, once I had it, the full sized version of win found it’s way on to my list. View Post
