While Benefit Cosmetics is a brand that has been around for a long, long time now, it tends to be a brand that generally escapes my notice. Don’t get me wrong; it’s not that their products are bad or anything, it’s just that they tend to not really be #WOCFriendly. Or at least, that’s the impression I have always got from looking at photos of their products. So imagine my surprise a few weeks ago when the Benefit GALifornia & Rockateur Powder Blush ($38 CAD each) caught my eye and made me sit up and take notice.
Nail Polish is not something I tend to focus on here on the blog. It’s not that I don’t like wearing Nail Polish I just generally don’t make the time to worry about it too often. Which, when you consider the amount of nail polish I own, is pretty silly. Out of all the nail polish I own, the ‘Essence The Gel Nail Polish‘ ($2.99 CAD each) line is hands down my favourite. There are currently 24 different shades in the line, in a wide variety of colours. View Post
Even though it has been out for quite a while now, I finally got around to picking up the Too Faced Sweet Peach Eye Shadow Collection Palette ($59 CAD). The palette itself was originally released back in early 2016, and I somehow managed to miss it completely. It was re-released a few months ago as part of a larger collection and by that time I didn’t feel the need to rush out and purchase it first thing. View Post
As much as I love DAVIDsTEA, I often forget that every month they have a Tea of the Month. Maybe it’s because I don’t usually make it into the store at the beginning of the month when the Tea of the Month is usually being promoted. But not this time; this time I managed to be in-store right at the beginning of the month and had the opportunity to sample the latest offering for March 2017; DAVIDsTEA Lemon Pound Cake Oolong Tea, and I’ve been drinking it ever since.
