Purchased by Me
Melt Cosmetics has long been a brand on my ‘I should try them’ list. Unfortunately for me, I always seem to forget about them and never ended up purchasing anything from them. Well, that was the case until a few weeks ago when they launched the Hot Box Collection. There was just something about this collection that really caught my eye. Combine that with great email flyer timing, and I managed to actually get my hands on the Melt Cosmetics The Haze Stack ($48 USD).
There are four shades and a mirror found in the Melt Cosmetics The Haze Stack:
- GANJA (gold)
- BOGART (copper)
- HAZE (red)
- INDICA (silver)
I personally love the packaging. It’s magnetic, and you can stack all of the shades together. Plus, the stack includes a mirror for ease of use as well.
INDICIA is a nice silver shade. It’s super, super pigmented, so remember that less is more.
GANJA is the shade that I thought would be the standout of the group. Don’t get me wrong, it’s gorgeous, but all the shades are equally gorgeous.
BOGART is somehow similar and different from anything I have previously owned. I find myself reaching for this one quite often, and I don’t see that changing anytime soon.
I am really not a red person, especially when it comes to eyeshadow, but HAZE really is too gorgeous not to somehow work into my regular rotation of shades. It is so pigmented and ridiculously pretty.
Melt Cosmetics The Haze Stack – Swatches
Overall, I’m super happy with the Melt Cosmetics The Haze Stack. The shades are gorgeous and just so pigmented. I don’t really experience a lot of fallout from the shades, and I’ve applied them both dry and wet. Of the four shades in this combination, I am really loving BOGART, which is a little surprising. The Melt Cosmetics The Haze Stack retails for $48 USD and is only available online from MeltCosmetics.com
