Introducing NIOD Skincare

Introducing NIOD Skincare.  Now NIOD isn’t really a new brand and have been around for a few years now.  But they are new to me and to the blog.  NIOD stands for Non Invasive Options in Dermal Science, and is one of the brands made by DECIEM – The Abnormal Beauty Company.  There are currently 18 different products in the NIOD line, with 3 of those being a part of the ‘core regimen’ and the rest falling into the ‘support regimen’ and the ‘Yešti’ line.  While I’ve being eyeing NIOD products for a while now, I’ve been a little intimidated to try them out.  But as part of the DECIEM Black Friday deals that I just couldn’t pass up, I managed to get my hands on a few NIOD products to test out.

Introducing NIOD Skincare

The NIOD products included in the DECIEM Black Friday deals were the Sanskrit Saponins, Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist, Copper Amino Isolate Serum 1.00% and Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex.  I’m not going to lie, I couldn’t even pronounce half of the names of the products, let alone know what they were for.  But I finally took the time to sit down and figure it all out.  Here’s what I learned:

Sanskrit Saponins | This is essentially a cleanser.  It is not to be used as a makeup remover, but can be used as part of a double cleanse in your skincare routine.

Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist | This is to be used on clean skin, preferably after the Sanskrit Saponins.  This is a moisture mist for your skin similar to others you can ind on the market.

Copper Amino Isolate Serum 1.00% | This serum is part of the ‘core regimen’.  It’s essentially an anti-aging serum.  It’s gets used after the Sanskrit Saponins and Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist, but before any other serums.

Multi-Molecular Hyaluronic Complex | This is another serum, but this one is mainly for hydration.  I’m pretty excited about this one if I’m being honest because my skin can always use some more hydration to keep it looking plump and even.

All in all, this NIOD Black Friday set from DECIEM came up to $90 CAD, which is a real steal and I’m looking forward to incorporating each of these products into my skincare routine.  Look out for individual reviews on each of these products in the coming weeks.
