So anyone who even knows a little bit about me knows that I love a good highlight! Like I really, really love a highlight. I love it so much, that pretty much whenever a new highlighter comes out, I pick it up. Now while I own a lot of different highlighters, I don’t claim to own them all. But, as with anything, there are exceptions to this rule. That exception is any of the Glow Kits from Anastasia Beverly Hills because I own every.last.one and I am not sorry about that at all. I use them all the time and I absolutely live for them. So let’s take a look at the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits.
Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit ($40 USD/$52 CAD)
The Anastasia Beverly Hills x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit is the latest offering in the Glow Kit line from Anastasia Beverly Hills and is the result of a collaboration between the brand and the Youtube Personality Nicole Guerriero. This is a palette with six, metallic powder highlighters that can be worn separately or combined to create an instant glow. The six shades included are Kitty Kat which is pink with a platinum shimmer; Daydream which is a coral with white gold shimmer; Forever Young which is a pink pear with a silver shimmer, Forever Lit which is a platinum with lavender shimmer; Glo Getter which is a champagne with rose shimmer; and 143 which is rose gold with bronze shimmer.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultimate Glow Glow Kit ($45 USD/$59 CAD)
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Ultimate Glow Glow Kit was released back in September 2016 as part of their fall collection. It like the ABH x Nicole Guerriero Glow Kit, contains six metallic shades. Snow is a pure icy white with platinum reflect; White is a warm beige with gold reflect; Golden Dawn is a warm amber with gold reflect; Sunray is a warm copper with a peach gold luster; Amber Gold is a warm rose with a gold luster; Hot Sand is a warm bronze with amber luster.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit ($40 USD/$52 CAD)
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Moonchild Glow Kit was released back in July 2016 at the same time as the Sweets Glow Kit (more on that later). Blue Ice is a diamond white with an icy blue reflect; Star is a moonstone fusion of min, platinum and silver reflect; Purple Horseshoe is a glittering lavender with an arctic blue reflect; Pink Heart is a pearl white with a pink opal reflect; Lucky Clover is a shamrock-infused gold with canary yellow diamond reflect; Blue Moon is a frozen blue with a silver reflect. While I like all of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits, the Moonchild Glow Kit is the most unusual. It’s also the one I was most excited to buy and the one that took the longest to master.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit ($40 USD/$52 CAD)
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Sweets Glow Kit was released back in July 2016 with the Moonchild Glow Kit. This one is in the original Glow Kit format and contains four, removable metallic shades. Marshmallow is an intense pearl with gold reflect; Sassy Grape is a lavender with blue reflect; Taffy is a fusion of peach, pink, and gold reflect; Butterscotch is a gold with white reflect. This Sweets Glow Kit is my go to Glow Kit. When all else fails me, the Sweets Glow Kit comes through me every single time. I’ve actually reviewed this one already so make sure you go take a look so you can see detailed swatches.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit ($40 USD/$52 CAD)
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit is a testament to a good summer glow. It is by far, contains the darkest of the shades available in the ABH Glow Kit line. Bronzed is an amber with a penny metal finish; Tourmaline is a warm taupe with a rose gold finish; Moonstone is a radiant quartz with a pearl finish; Summer is a luminous sand with a white gold finish. I find myself reaching for the Anastasia Beverly Hills Sun Dipped Glow Kit when I am looking for that natural, healthy glow.
Anastasia Beverly Hills That Glow Glow Kit ($40 USD/$52 CAD)
The Anastasia Beverly Hills That Glow Glow Kit is one of the original two Glow Kits first released by the brand. Sunburst is a bright, luminous gold with a metallic finish; Golden Bronze is a sultry, warm bronze with a gold-flecked finish; Bubbly is a rose champagne with a pearlescent finish; Dripping in Gold is a lavish gold with a vivid, reflective finish. I don’t think I’ve every actually used this one, which I will have to rectify immediately.
Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Gleam Glow Kit is without the OG in this line of highlighters. It along, with the Anastasia Beverly Hills That Glow Glow Kit were the first two kits released from the brand, and one of the first highlighters released in a package by any brand. Unfortunately, this kit is no longer for sale, and pretty much out of stock anywhere. Hard Candy is a golden peach with a pink pearl shimmer; Mimosa is a metallic peach with golden undertones; Starburst is an iridescent pink with cool undertones; Crushed Pearl is a pearlescent pink with a frosty finish.
Make sure to stop by the blog next Friday because I will be reviewing each of the palettes individually where you can not only see swatches of the each palette, but actual looks with every shade found in the Anastasia Beverly Hills Glow Kits. In the meantime, you can check out the Highlighter section here on the blog!
