Exploring A More Natural Way to Heal with the Saje Natural Wellness Pocket Pharmacy

Now I’m not someone who is normally concerned or interested in ‘natural healing’.  That’s not to say that I don’t believe in it or anything, but when I am ill in any way shape or form, my first inclination is not to reach for a natural remedy.  Rather, I am the one waiting for the pharmacy to open and stocking up on whatever painkiller/germ killer I need at that given moment.  As you can imagine, with my reliance on over the counter medication, they have started to lose their potency and effectiveness over the years.  So the other day, when I was getting fed up of my week-long headache, I decided to look for an alternative way to treat my ailments.  Thank the lord for Google because it lead me right to Saje Natural Wellness and their new store located at the Toronto Eaton Centre.

I’ve gotta say, that when I went into the store, I was a little overwhelmed.  Not because the store is cluttered or disorganized or anything.  No, I was overwhelmed because there was so many different things that I didn’t know where to start.  Lucky for me, the sales people are super helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.  I not was not only shown around to all areas of the store, but they helped me narrow it down in terms of what I was looking for.  That day, I had a headache.  A headache that had been hanging around for about a week by that point.  So picking up something that could help with that was an absolute must.  But as much as dealing with my headache was a priority, it wasn’t my only concern and after testing out a few products, I decided to pick up a Pocket Pharmacy.

The Pocket Pharmacy contains 5 different Saje Natural Wellness remedies, designed to combat specific health issues.  Up first is the super popular Peppermint Halo that is used to fight headaches, and it does it so, so well.  The we have Immune Remedy, which is a virus fighting blend that I am going to need sooner, rather than later.  Eater’s Digest is designed to help with digestion issues.  Stress Release helps relieve the tension in your body after a long day and also aids in obtaining a more restful sleep.  And last but not least we have Pain Release which is great for helping to relieve those aches and pains that we all feel on a day-to-day basis.

I’m not going to lie, even while I was in the store, I was still skeptical that this natural healing actually could work.  Well that skepticism lasted until the Saje sales associate demonstrated the Peppermint Halo on me and it began working before I had even left the store.  Colour me sold!

The Saje Natural Wellness Pocket Pharmacy is designed for you to carry with you on the go.  I’ve had mine in my purse since the day I got it, and it has been a godsend.  You can pick one up for yourself at one of the Saje Natural Wellness locations or a Saje.ca for $59.95

Join me in the coming weeks as I review each of the therapeutic remedy roll-ons individually and provide a demonstration on how to use them.

I don’t really have allergies, but last year I did experience them while we were doing some reno’s. It would have been so good to know about Saje during that time.

This seems amazing! I usually reach for Tiger Balm to rub on my neck and temples when I get bad headaches so I imagine the relief you must have felt. It seems like the sales people really know their stuff! Maybe I will stop in next time I am in Toronto. Cheers!

Tigerbalm is not something I’ve ever tried before, but I can’t stop saying enough good things about Saje. Instant headache relief…you need to try it.

I’ve never tried Tiger Balm, but I swear by the Saje Peppermint Halo. Love it, love it, love it. I don’t know how I lived without it before.

YAY! So glad you found Saje – I haven’t been to the Eaton Centre location yet but this is by FAR the my best brand discovery of last year. My favourite product ever is peppermint halo. I’ve purchased a few so I can keep one by my bed, and a few to throw into my purses!

The Eaton Centre location is so nice. Very open. I agree with you. Saje is my best brand discovery this year. How did I ever live without them?

Yes! Stress Release has been helping me unwind after a very long and stressful day. I’m going to pick up a few extras so I can stash them in my desk at work and so on.

Pretttyy photos! I received this back in March at a blogging event in Vancouver. I use the pain release on my mosquito bites and it takes the itch away haha! Can’t wait to see how you use them.

      Thank you.

I can’t tell you the last time I got bitten by a mosquito, but the Pain Release would probably work for those as well.

Like you, I was a huge skeptic, but dammit, this stuff really works! I recently picked up on their soothing aromatherapy sprays for times when I’m feeling like a little perk-up during the work day.

    • August 18, 2015 / 9:43 am

It really does work. Like I couldn’t believe that it worked…or that it worked so fast.

This is REALLY interesting. I love that you’re coming at it from the perspective of a skeptic, because that’s definitely where I fit too. I feel a little like I need to get my hands on that halo because I suffer from pretty frequent headaches but I don’t like taking too many pain killers so I usually just suffer through.

    • August 18, 2015 / 9:45 am

You have to try it. It works, and works so quickly. If you try this, you should be able to forgo the painkillers. I even use it on bad weather days to help stave off the weather related ones that pop up.

I’m definitely going to look into it, because if I could find something natural that actually works I would be a very happy camper. I try to be open minded, but I find I’m becoming a pretty strong skeptic about a lot of natural remedies, so it would be nice to have a counter to that.

I went into Saje for the first time a few weeks ago and was super impressed! They tried the Peppermint Halo on me and I instantly felt refreshed and cooled down. Definitely planning to buy that soon 🙂

First off, love your photos. Second – I’d love to try this – but I’m pretty skeptical. I totally believe essential oils can help with relaxation, stress relief, and definitely headaches. But the immune system and digestion system ones make me skeptical, along with the expensive price. I’d really love to hear what you think in a few week’s time, especially about the immune/digestion ones!
