Today I’m doing something just a little different here on the blog. I recently had the opportunity to partner with Grace Foods to use some of their products to create a meal. Well I decided that my birthday was the occasion to kick off this partnership. So let’s take a look at what the Baked Jerk Chicken Wings I made using products from Grace Foods.
I was sent three products:
- Grace Jamaican Style Jerk Marinade
- Grace 100% Pure Coconut Water
- Grace Jamaican Style Jerk BBQ Sauce
Now I grew up in a West Indian household, so I am no stranger to either products from Grace Foods or Jerk Products on the whole. But after having used the products sent me, I can say that their Jerk products are hands down my favourite. They have all of that Jerk taste that you want without the mouth burning fire that some products give you. Above you can see the chicken wings after they have been seasoned and marinating for 12 hours.
Above you can see that the Baked Jerk Chicken Wings just after being removed from the oven. As you can see, they are moist and have plenty of sauce left over. They were such a huge hit in my house that I’ve already received requests to cook them again.
I paired this with cooked with rice, cauliflower and broccoli. For both the rice and the veggies, I cooked them both in the 100% Pure Coconut Water. They tasted absolutely amazing and this might be my new way of cooking vegetables from now on. Of course everyone then wanted to drink what was left of the coconut water, so who was I to deny them.
